Boston Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown is likely to make his impending return to the court on Sunday against the Sacramento Kings, according to Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe.

Brown was under the concussion protocol and claims he's feeling a lot better after suffering the injury.

“I’m feeling a lot better,” said Brown. “I’m just trying to hurry up and get back… I’m tired of not playing,”

The Celtics have been worn thin with absences to Kyrie Irving, Marcus Smart, and Brown; who will still miss Friday's tilt against the Portland Trail Blazers.

“My mom definitely said no more dunking,” joked Brown, considering the nature of his injury.

The Celtics will need to do what they can to manage the wave of 11 games to come until the end of the season, hoping to stay locked into second place in the Eastern Conference after a key down-to-the-wire win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Boston has lost three of the last five games, as a six-game lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers is dangerously narrowing due to the absence of these players.
