After eliminating the Miami Heat in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Sunday night, the Boston Celtics are now shifting their focus on what lies ahead. Their prize is a matchup against the mighty Golden State Warriors for a shot at becoming the 2022 NBA champions.

Celtics star Jaylen Brown has shared his thoughts on this highly-anticipated matchup. The All-Star forward is well aware of what Stephen Curry and Co. bring to the table, and Brown is all giddy about what should be an epic seven-game series:

“The Warriors are a tough team to play against,” Brown told Chris Haynes Yahoo Sports. “They’re smart, experienced and they’ve got a lot of firepower. I’m excited and looking forward to the challenge.”

The odds are certainly stacked against the Celtics, who will be making their first Finals appearance. The Warriors, on the other hand, are gunning for their fourth NBA title in what is going to be their sixth trip to the Finals in the past eight years.

Be that as it may, Brown and the rest of the Celtics are not going to go down easy. They are the best defensive team in the league and they're definitely going to give the Warriors a run for their money.
