Stephen Curry currently plays for the Golden State Warriors and is considered the greatest shooter ever and one of the best NBA players of all time. A four-time champion, two-time MVP, and nine-time All-Star, Curry in 2021 set the record for most career 3-pointers made. Curry was born on March 14, 1988 in Akron, Ohio and is the son of former NBA player Dell Curry. He grew to national relevance during college at Davidson, where he led the Wildcats to a stunning March Madness run to the Elite Eight in 2008. Curry was drafted with the No. 7 overall pick by the Warriors in the 2009 NBA Draft and has stayed with Golden State for the entirety of his career. After battling health issues for the early part of his career, Curry earned his first All-Star appearance in 2014 before leading the Warriors to championships in 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2022. Off the court, Curry is known for his philanthropy and social activism, supporting causes such as education, hunger relief, and equal opportunity. He is married to Ayesha Curry and has three kids: Riley, Ryan and Canon. His net worth is estimated at $160 million.
