Several interesting things happened during the Boston Celtics' Christmas Day loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Celtics star Jayson Tatum made franchise history by surpassing a record previously held by Boston great Paul Pierce. However, it was something else that Tatum did that caught the attention of viewers. The Boston star accidentally elbowed his fellow teammate Jaylen Brown in the face, chipping his tooth. After the game, Tatum took to social media to react to chipping Brown's tooth.

That's a hilarious caption by Celtics guard Jaylen Brown, who is joking that it's sometimes one's own people, or in this case, his teammate Jayson Tatum, who cause harm. Then Jayson Tatum comes back with the “my bad”, saying that he'll get Brown a tooth for the holidays.

Even though the Celtics lost to the Bucks, it was probably nice for Boston fans to have something to laugh about, especially given their recent struggles.

Add that to the recent rumors about the Tatum and Brown partnership seemingly trending downward, and Boston fans were probably downright thrilled to see this interaction between the two on social media.

Maybe Brown's tooth will become a rallying point for he, Tatum and the Celtics. After all, Boston pushed the defending champion Bucks to the brink on Christmas Day before eventually succumbing to the loss.

Maybe that's the kick in the pants, or the Jayson Tatum elbow in Jaylen Brown's tooth, that the Celtics really needed.
