Kemba Walker and the Boston Celtics scored a huge win against the red-hot Denver Nuggets on Sunday. The Celtics were down as much as 14 points late in the third quarter surged back to stomp the Nuggets on the road, 105-87. Walker, who shot blanks all evening from deep (0-7), managed to fight through adversity and led his team to an impressive comeback victory.

Walker chimed in with some thoughts after the game, according to Jared Weiss of the NBA.

There were a lot of questions coming into this one with the Celtics still trying to find their identity this late in the season. To make things worse, both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown were questionable to play against the mighty Nuggets who were riding an eight-game win streak as they hosted Boston on Sunday. Tatum and Brown both were in the starting line-up for the Celtics in time for tip-off.

Down by double-digits with a quarter and change left, Walker and the rest of the starting unit set the tone down the stretch. Walker had an emphatic slam as they slowly stabilized the Nuggets lead late in the third. Brown, who ended up playing through his knee issue, also got hot late in the third and helped fuel the Celtics' late run. Tatum, for his part, led the way for the Celtics with 28 points and 10 boards.
