The Kansas City Chiefs look as formidable as ever, having steamrolled the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Wild Card round. With their sights set on another Super Bowl victory, the Chiefs are just getting started on their run through the playoffs. When discussing the desire to add another Lombardi Trophy to his collection, Reid dropped a hilarious analogy, comparing a Super Bowl win to a delicious piece of chocolate cake, via Vahe Gregorian.

“If you like chocolate cake, and you eat a piece, and then you have one dangling in front of your face, you're probably going to want to eat that, too. Not much is going to stop you,” Reid said.

Well, that is about the most Andy Reid answer the Chiefs' boss has ever given. Having just recently dropped a steak-themed analogy, it looks as if Reid is preparing for dessert with his latest food-based reply. After winning the Super Bowl LIV back in 2020 against the San Francisco 49ers, the Chiefs are eager to get another taste of that success, or as Reid likens it to, the chocolate cake. Chocolate cake is not something that leaves you satisfied after just one bite and the Chiefs are back for the whole cake this time around after having fallen short in 2021 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Based on how the offense looked in their playoff opener against the Steelers, it'll be extremely difficult for any opposition to keep them off the scoreboard, so perhaps Reid will be able to get that coveted second helping of chocolate cake after all.
