The 2022 NFL Draft is over and teams across the league are signing undrafted free agents left and right. One name that surprisingly went undrafted was former Clemson Tigers star receiver, Justyn Ross. Many speculated he'd be a solid late-round addition, but the wide receiver finally finds a new home with the Kansas City Chiefs.

According to Jordan Schultz, the Chiefs have officially signed Justyn Ross to the 90-man roster. There are injury concerns for Ross, which is what led to his surprising fall in the NFL Draft. However, he ends up in a perfect landing spot with the Chiefs, as Kansas City has proven to be phenomenal at developing rookies.

Ross' talent is superb. He's tall, quick, agile, and has consistent hands. The injuries are a concern though, as the former Clemson star has dealt with neck and back issues in 2020, then suffered a stress fracture in his left foot last season. With that said, if Justyn Ross can stay healthy, then the Chiefs might have just signed the best undrafted free agent available. If that's the case, then watch out for Kansas City's offense, as usual.

Fans should temper expectations though. There is a reason why all 32 teams avoided Justyn Ross throughout the NFL Draft. He has a long battle ahead to earn a spot on the final roster, but he's in a great situation to succeed. The Chiefs are likely to take their time with him and allow the young receiver to fully recover from any injury woes he's dealing with currently.

Keep an eye on the Chiefs, as this franchise aims to make another Super Bowl appearance sooner, rather than later.
