Wide receiver Tyreek Hill’s nagging quad injury has been a concern for the Kansas City Chiefs as of late.

Hill suffered the injury during the Chiefs' Week 5 home loss against the Buffalo Bills. The veteran wideout was then held out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday of last week. He did go on to take part in last Friday's practice, which played into the team's decision to give him the green light to feature against the Washington Football Team in Week 6.

Hill's quad issue did emerge as a problem for him during the game, as he was at one point ruled as questionable due to the injury. He did return to the game in the second half, where he played a pivotal role in the Chiefs' comeback win over Washington with a 2-yard receiving touchdown.

The Chiefs once again opted for the more conservative route in dealing with Hill's injury, as they ruled him out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. But as was the case last week, Hill returned to practice on Friday and was limited throughout the session.

After Chiefs practice on Friday, head coach Andy Reid shared his optimism that Hill will be available to feature against the Tennessee Titans in Week 7.

“Tyreek was out there today and moved around pretty good, so unless something changes, he should be fine,” Reid said.

Although drops have been an issue for him as of late, Hill remains as a vital player in Kansas City’s offense. He leads the team in receptions this season with 46 to go along with the five receiving touchdowns recorded.

If Hill goes on to play in Week 7, then he could be in for a standout showing against a Titans pass defense that currently ranks 24th in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game with a 276.3 average.
