Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Eli Apple did a lot of talking against the Kansas City Chiefs after their AFC championship showdown. Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman didn't forget it after Apple's Bengals lost to the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl 56.

The Chiefs wideout sent out two savage tweets directed at Apple. First, he called out Apple for failing to stop Cooper Kupp's game-winning touchdown. Then he flexed his Super Bowl ring from 2020 that the cornerback failed to match just moments prior.

“@EliApple Wish you was a better corner bro then the game winning touchdown wouldn’t been scored on you 🤷🏾‍♂️”

“@EliApple It’s cool big bro! You might get one of these one day 🥺 but in the mean time just go get better at your craft ✌🏾,” said the Chiefs WR.

Hardman was clearly snickering to himself after Cooper Kupp gave Eli Apple the business on the final drive that won the Rams the Super Bowl.

Eli Apple got the Chiefs' attention when he called star wide receiver Tyreek Hill a baby on Twitter. Both Hill and Hardman responded, saying they'd rather he call them up privately instead.

That's the dangerous thing about talking too much trash. Unless you can back it all up, your words can come back to haunt you.
