The Kansas City Chiefs will have a brand-new look on offense in the 2022 season. They lost arguably their best weapon in Tyreek Hill. Hill's speed and skill will sorely be missed, and fans are already questioning how the KC offense will function without one of its best weapons.

Despite that loss, Mecole Hardman is still optimistic that the Chiefs offense will be fine. The wide receiver is excited about the extra opportunities he and the rest of his teammates will get after the departure of Hill. Here's what he had to say. (via NFL.com)

“Definitely opportunity, for sure,” the Chiefs WR said. “A guy like Tyreek with a lot of targets, I think it's a lot of targets to go around. Obviously, we've got a good group of guys, receivers-wise, so it's definitely going to be a good year to come up a little bit and just have fun with it and just take advantage of the opportunity.”

Hardman also referenced that the core of the offense still remains, as Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are still with the Chiefs. The two players are cheat codes in their own ways, and as long as they are there, the KC offense will succeed. It's just a matter of whether the rest of the receivers can step up.

Hardman will be joined by a rather interesting group of wide receivers. The two biggest additions for the Chiefs were Juju Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. These three will take the brunt of the offense without Hill's breakneck speed.
