Emotions were running high after the Kansas City Chiefs were blown out by the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in a 23-7 loss. Following the game, a reporter tweeted out that Tyrann Mathieu made some NSFW remarks to the Titans fans. The star safety quickly fired back at those allegations on social media:

While the reporter did apologize, he stood by what he supposedly heard from the Chiefs veteran:

Whether it was said or not, this simply happened because of how frustrated Kansas City is. They're now 3-4 on the season after losing in the Super Bowl earlier this year. Even worse, Patrick Mahomes left the game with an apparent head injury. But, it appears he will be able to play next weekend for the Chiefs.

As for Mathieu, he collected six tackles against the Titans but it wasn't enough to stop their potent offense. Although Derrick Henry only had 86 yards on the ground, their passing game excelled against a struggling Chiefs defense.

KC has some serious questions to answer in the coming weeks amid their poor play. Mahomes hasn't been the same player and as a whole, it's just been a forgettable campaign thus far. The Chiefs will have an extra day's rest as they face the New York Giants on Monday Night Football in Week 8.
