The Miami Dolphins swung for the fences on Wednesday when they completed a blockbuster trade with the Kansas City Chiefs that netted them All-Pro wide receiver Tyreek Hill. Hill emerged as one of the premier wide receiver threats in the league during his time in Kansas City, really taking off upon the arrival of star quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The speedy wideout quickly became a fan favorite amongst the Chiefs Kingdom, so it wasn't hard to imagine the reaction of the fanbase when they learned that their best playmaker had been dealt to Miami. It was equally difficult for Hill, who had built relationships with members of the Chiefs' community. Hill took to Twitter with an emotional farewell message after his trade to the Dolphins.

Tyreek Hill acknowledged that he is excited to start working in Miami after the trade to the Dolphins, though he also noted how difficult it was for him to think about the memories of his time and the people in Kansas City.

In a classy gesture, the newest member of the Dolphins thanked those who helped give back to the Kansas City community through his foundation, proceeding to thank the organization, his quarterback Patrick Mahomes, fellow playmaker Travis Kelce, and others. Chiefs' fans also got a specific shoutout from the Cheetah.

It's difficult for Hill to move on from the Chiefs, the organization that gave him his first chance. However, the speedy wideout has another, different challenge with Miami.

Prove that his success in Kansas City was no fluke.
