The New Orleans Saints are clearly grateful in the fact that Drew Brees is taking the field once more on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Be that as it may, that hasn't stopped the Chiefs from capitalizing on Brees' slow start as he gets readjusted to the gameplay.

L'Jarius Sneed made sure to not allow Brees to get too comfortable during the opening minutes of the first quarter. While Sneed wasn't able to get a lot of yards gained on the pick, it could unfortunately set the tone for Brees going throughout the game.

Brees has been out for the past four games after suffering a collapsed right lung and 11 broken ribs during a Saints–San Francisco 49ers bout in Week 10. In times since, the Saints have opted go with Taysom Hill in his place, which has led to them winning three of their last four games before losing to the Philadelphia Eagles last week.

The Chiefs have had the opposite side of luck in prior weeks. They've lost only one game throughout the season and remain first in the AFC West as the regular season draws to a close. Kansas City has only picked up steam since the once-undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers dropped two games, giving the Chiefs sole possession of the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

If Brees' struggles continue, the Chiefs winning streak will go on as predicted. And it could be an interesting wrinkle if these two teams meet again in Super Bowl LV.
