With a loss last week, the New Orleans Saints lost their number one seed in the NFC to the Green Bay Packers. The Kansas City Chiefs are currently in line to get the top seed in the AFC. At 10-3, the Saints have the same record as the Green Bay Packers, so every game from now until the end of the season is absolutely critical if the Saints want to contend for that number one seed.

Unfortunately for the Saints, they are going up against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, the best team in the NFL based on record at 12-1. The Chiefs have one of the most explosive offenses football has ever seen and seem to be unstoppable late in games.

The Saints will look to change that narrative in week 15. Here are four bold predictions for the Saints in week 15 against the Chiefs.

1. The Saints will defeat the Kansas City Chiefs

Even though the Saints are 10-3, this is definitely a bold take. The Chiefs have won their last eight games in a row and are looking to maintain their number one seed in the AFC. Although Kansas City may seem like an unstoppable Goliath in the AFC, their last five games have been one possession games. One play doesn't go their way, and the result may be completely different.

Even sub-par teams like the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers were within one score of the defending champions. A superbowl contender like the Saints will surely be in this game. The fact that they're playing on turf, at the superdome, gives them the edge. Saints come out with the win against Kansas City in week 15.

2. Drew Brees will throw for over 300 yards

Drew Brees was just taken off the injured reserve list this week and is slated to play on Sunday. Is there a better way to come back from an injury than to play the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs? I don't think so.

The Chiefs are an average team against the pass, and struggle against the intermediate and short passing game. Alvin Kamara should thrive making plays after the catch, and Jared Cook should see a healthy dose of receptions.

Brees is an all time great, so it's expected that he makes an all-time return on Sunday. Even without Michael Thomas, Brees is going to have himself a game.

3. Alvin Kamara will have 200+ all-purpose yards

It's crazy that some people may not even view this as a bold take, but that's just a testament to how good Alvin Kamara is. Kamara will get his fair share of carries in this game, but will be most effective in the passing game.

Kamara is an excellent checkdown back, which will be crucial in week 15 considering how good Chris Jones and the Kansas City defensive line is getting to the QB.

Kamara will make plays after contact and has the opportunity to make some big offensive plays for this Saints offense. Expect to see a big game from Alvin Kamara.

4. The Saints secondary will hold the Chiefs to under 25 points

The story of this New Orleans Saints team this season has not been explosive offense, or creative coaching like it usually is. Instead, the strength of this New Orleans Saints team has been their defense. The Saints rank 4th in passing yards allowed (209 yards per game), as well as 4th in the NFL in points allowed (20.4 PPG).

Although they started the season shaky, the Saints defense has been dominant over the last six weeks. Over that span, they've given up an average of 10.8 points per game. The best in the NFL over that span.

The matchup between Marshon Lattimore and Tyreek Hill is something that must have football fans excited to watch. That's not all either. Demario Davis just happens to be one of the best linebackers in coverage, so that matchup between him and Travis Kelce is going to be one to look out for as well. This Saints defense matches up well with the Chiefs.

The Chiefs offense will most definitely give the Saints everything that they can handle. The Chiefs have only scored under 30 points five times this season, and are second in the NFL, averaging 31 points per contest. This is going to be a heavyweight battle between the Chiefs offense and Saints defense.

Overall

This is the game that we have all been waiting for. The new face of the league, Patrick Mahomes, going up against one of the best quarterbacks in history, Drew Brees, in the Superdome. The Chiefs will have their hands full with the Saints defense and Drew Brees is going to show the world why he's great.

This game is going to be fun to watch.
