The Kansas City Chiefs and Mecole Hardman are putting a beatdown on the Miami Dolphins as their Week 14 contest enters the fourth quarter. The Chiefs have put up 28 straight points on Sunday, which continues to further the gap between the two clubs.

Mecole Hardman dealt the latest blow against the Dolphins as he returned a 67-yard punt return for an eventual touchdown. The wideout split through multiple defenders before sprinting into the end zone as the third quarter got underway.

Aside from Hardman's return, the Chiefs' overall offense has been stellar so far.

Patrick Mahomes has completed 71.4 percent of his passes for the Chiefs for 242 yards along with two touchdowns. He's coming off a dominant performance against the Denver Broncos in Week 13 in which he threw for 318 yards and one touchdown.

Travis Kelce is also off to another impressive start for the Chiefs on Sunday. He's caught seven of his eight targets for 104 yards for a touchdown so far. Tyreek Hill has also been exceptional with his one touchdown as well.

The Chiefs are 11-1 for the season so far and looking to make another run for a Super Bowl championship as the season nears its end. They remain first in the AFC West ahead of the highly respected Las Vegas Raiders.

The defending champions are battling the one-loss Pittsburgh Steelers for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. The Steelers face a very tough challenge against the Buffalo Bills in one of the bigger Sunday Night Football games of the season. The Steelers currently lead the Chiefs due to a tiebreaker, but if the Chiefs can hold on versus the Dolphins and the Bills defeat the Steelers, Kansas City would move into the top spot in the AFC, shoving Pittsburgh to the second seed.

This season, the No. 2 seed in a conference does not get a wild card bye. That represents a change from previous seasons, due to the introduction of a seventh playoff berth in each conference.
