Chris Bosh is on the path of making one of the most impressive comebacks in recent memory.

The blood clot scares that he’s had over the past couple of years are now part of history, at least for Bosh himself.

The All-Star forward has yet to convince the Miami Heat’s front office that he’s now free of any long-term threats to his health. He has been seen working out a number of times already, which is a great sign for Heat faithfuls.

Speaking on UNINTERUPPTED’s Open Run podcast, Bosh proclaims his health status.

“I’m ready to play. We’ve been talking about it for a long time. We released the statement back in May, saying as soon as I’m ready to play, as soon as possible, we’ll play, and I’m ready. I’ve done all my work. I’ve done what I need to do, working with the doctors.”

“I’ve made it clear from the jump if I’m ready to play I want to play. I’ll be there (at camp). Will I be cleared? I don’t know. That’s out of my hands. I will play basketball in the NBA. I’m confident.”

The Heat will sorely miss the presence of superstar Dwyane Wade, but having Chris Bosh around should make up for the loss. Outside of the disease, Bosh’s body is in good condition, granted that his conditioning has caught up.

Training camp fast approaches and everyone’s waiting for a decision from the Heat on whether to insert their franchise player back to action or wait further.
