The Cleveland Browns are set to take on the Minnesota Vikings in a tough matchup both teams need to win. Cleveland has looked solid in their last two games and is looking to earn their third straight win on Sunday. It's time to continue our NFL predictions series with a Browns Week 4 prediction.

This game might be closer than most believe. The Vikings lost two close contests before beating the Seattle Seahawks 30-17. They're better than their record shows, which makes this a dangerous matchup for the Browns. However, Dalvin Cook is injured and Cleveland has a stout front seven.

Odell Beckham Jr. returned in Week 3 and will be looking to have a big game against the Vikings. Nick Chubb has been efficient so far but has yet to break the century mark in rushing yards. That could change on Sunday. Meanwhile, Baker Mayfield has developed as a solid quarterback for Cleveland and could be in for a massive performance against Minnesota. With that said, here are four bold Browns Week 4 predictions against the Vikings.

Browns Week 4 Predictions

4. Browns defense shuts down the Vikings run game

For now, it's up in the air whether or not Dalvin Cook plays on Sunday, which means Alexander Mattison would be in line to be the starter again. Although Minnesota is a run-first team, they could struggle against the Browns in this matchup.

With Myles Garrett, Jadeveon Clowney, and the impressive linebacking core, the Browns don't offer much room in the run game. Dalvin Cook gives the Vikings a better chance, but if he's out, we could see Minnesota struggle throughout.

3. Odell Beckham Jr. goes off for 100+ yards and 1 touchdown

It's been a while since we've seen prime Odell Beckham Jr., but he looked great in his first game back since his injury. He ended the day with five receptions for 77 yards. With Jarvis Landry sidelined, OBJ will serve as the top wideout in Cleveland. Look for him to have a big game, as he should take advantage of the Vikings' questionable secondary.

2. Nick Chubb erupts for 120+ yards

It's no secret that Nick Chubb is an elite running back. He's arguably the best rusher in the league and provides the Browns with consistency out of the backfield. Even so, Chubb has yet to break 100 yards rushing this season, but that could change on Sunday.

Although Kareem Hunt takes carries away, Chubb is a threat to take it to the house on any given play. The Vikings' defense has struggled against the run, making this a prime matchup for the Browns star running back. Look for Nick Chubb to go berserk and possibly rush for over 120 yards in this game.

1. Baker Mayfield picks apart the Vikings defense

Although the Browns receiving core is hindered right now, Baker Mayfield has been able to maintain consistency from last year. He's developed into a great starting quarterback and will likely be a prominent name for years to come. He faces a Vikings defense who has allowed 78 points in their first three games.

For that reason, the Browns should be able to win this contest and Baker Mayfield could play a vital role. Minnesota has struggled so far, which should allow the Browns to take advantage. Look for Mayfield to deliver the ball with accuracy throughout this game, giving the Browns passing attack a huge boost in production.
