Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars are heading into Week 4 of the 2021 NFL season preparing for a big showdown against Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. Coming into this game, the Jaguars are 0-3 and have looked very rough early. On the other side of the field, the Bengals are actually 2-1 and are looking like a team that could be a sleeper playoff candidate.

Following three dismal performances to start his NFL career, Lawrence will have all eyes on him in this matchup. Can he finally show the superstar potential that made him the clear-cut No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft? Is this the game that he finally breaks out of his slump and helps Jacksonville fans calm down?

Speaking of Lawrence, he has completed just 54.2 percent of his pass attempts for 669 yards, five touchdowns, and seven interceptions so far this season. The start hasn't been good, but it isn't time to panic just yet. A big fourth game against the Bengals would quiet all of the critics who have been rising up aggressively.

Urban Meyer has also been drawing quite a bit of criticism so far in his first three games as the Jaguars' head coach. Many don't like the offense that the team runs and believes that Meyer will be out of Jacksonville before too long. Overreactions always run rampant this early in the season, but it is true that Jacksonville needs to turn things around soon.

All of that being said, let's dive in and take a look at four bold predictions for the Jaguars in Week 4 against the Bengals.

Jacksonville Jaguars Week 4 Predictions

4. The Jaguars Sack Joe Burrow At Least Four Times

First up, the Jaguars need to focus on putting pressure on Joe Burrow. If they want to win this football game, they are going to need to force the second-year quarterback to be uncomfortable and make mistakes.

Burrow has started the 2021 season strong thus far, but has shown that he will turn the football over as well. He has completed 70.7 percent of his passes for 640 yards, seven touchdowns, and four interceptions. Should the Jaguars be able to accomplish their goal of pressuring Burrow, they could find some success and making things much easier on Lawrence.

The defense needs to step up big-time this week. Jacksonville still has a lot of work to do on the defensive side of the ball, but the talent is there for them to pressure Burrow. We are predicting they accomplish that goal with at least four sacks.

3. Laviska Shenault Jr. Comes Through With A Breakout Performance

One of the main players that fans were watching coming into this season was second-year wide receiver Laviska Shenault Jr. He was expected to put together a big campaign after putting together a solid rookie season.

Through three games this year, Shenault has caught 13 passes for 95 yards. He has yet to find the end zone.

Against the Bengals, all of that will change. Shenault is going to break through with a big-time performance. We are predicting that he will end up catching eight passes for at least 100 yards and a touchdown or two.

2. A Big Game From Trevor Lawrence Silences The Doubters

Trevor Lawrence has had success throughout his entire football career. Why should fans think that he will be unable to compete in the NFL? A rough start is one thing, but only giving him three games before panicking is utterly ridiculous.

In Week 4 against the Bengals, Lawrence is going to silence his doubters. He will showcase the star potential that made him the top pick in the NFL Draft.

We are predicting that Lawrence will rack up at least 275 passing yards. He will also toss three touchdowns and will not throw a single interception. That is the kind of performance that fans have been waiting on, and they will get it this week.

1. Jacksonville Gets Their First Win Of The Season

While the Bengals are the favorites to pull out a win this week, we are predicting that the opposite will happen. With the Jaguars being able to put pressure on Burrow and a big game on the offensive side of the football, Jacksonville will move to 1-3 with their first win of the season.

Lawrence and Meyer will start earning the trust of the fans back with this win. Don't expect this win to be a stepping stone to a long-term winning streak, but it will be a step in the right direction.

Simply getting in the win column will raise spirts in Jacksonville and will give Lawrence and the Jaguars more confidence moving forward. They are a better football team than they have shown through three weeks. Tonight, things will begin changing and the panic will finally start dying down.
