Kawhi Leonard made quick work of the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a 128-103 victory. The reigning Finals MVP dropped a casual 43 points on 14-of-22 shooting from the field (six 3-pointers) and 9-of-10 from the free-throw line. He did all that in just three quarters.

With his line on Tuesday, Leonard became just the third player in the shot-clock era (since the 1954-55 season) to score 43 or more points in under 29 minutes of play:

It was arguably Kawhi Leonard's most dominant game of the season, as the helpless Cavs watched him score in a variety of ways. He muscled his way to the basket, knocked down mid-range jumpers, and drained six 3-balls on the evening.

Leonard scored 26 of his 43 in the first half, including 14 points in the second quarter. He also went 9-of-13 from the field and knocked down five triples through the first 24 minutes of action.

Super-sub Lou Williams also had an efficient night from the field, going 10-of-13 en-route to 24 points off the bench for the Clippers, who were without injured star Paul George.

The Clippers finally put out a statement game after a series of lackluster performances over the past week. There had been concern around the team after an embarrassing loss to the streaking Memphis Grizzlies on Jan. 4. They hadn't played up to their standards over their last three games prior to Tuesday, which included a loss to the Denver Nuggets in their previous contest.

Could this be the game that gets Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers back on track? We will see if they can keep it going when they face off against the Orlando Magic on Thursday night as they try to improve upon their 28-13 record.
