T1, as an organization, went through many challenges following its decision to overhaul its staff in the wake of Worlds 2020. T1 is back to reveal the final four coaches that will be joining its League of Legends team for the 2021 season. Undoubtedly, the organization looks to regain its complete domination over South Korea and the international stage.

The way forward

The organization failed to return to the Worlds finals stage after its crushing defeat in 2017. Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, T1's stalwart Mid, stuck by the organization across rocky seasons but success still eluded the team. Hopefully, these new and returning coaches will be the key to the team's fourth world title win. There's no telling how many seasons Faker can continue playing at the highest level of League of Legends.

T1 re-signed Park “Hajin” Hyun-seon as a player development coach and Kim “Moment” Ji-hwan” as an assistant coach. They also welcomed newcomers assistant coach Son “Stardust” Seok-hee and Acadamy Park “Hajin” Hyun-seon. Hajin had this to say about her involvement with the team.

“I will be focusing on the players' health, as well as supporting the coaching staff by providing data(s) and tools for (an) optimal practice environment.”

The organization's team lineups were formally finalized in early December meaning this could potentially be T1's final offseason announcements before the 2021 LCK Spring Split kicks off. T1's main roster retained most of its players and they will be bolstered by rookies from the Academy team. Expectations are at an all-time high for the organization following their big staffing changes. Hopefully, we'll see the Unkillable Demon King back to his former glory atop the mountain of League of Legends.
