Jacoby Brissett and the Indianapolis Colts entered their Week 2 matchup against the Tennessee Titans needing a big win. After suffering a heartbreaking loss last week against the Los Angeles Chargers, Indianapolis is really wanting to knock off their AFC South rival to get their first win of the post-Andrew Luck era.
After finding Eric Ebron for the first touchdown of the game for the Colts, rookie wide receiver Parris Campbell got in on the action. Campbell caught Brissett's second touchdown of the game on a 12-yard play.
Take a look at the rookie wide receiver's first career touchdown that put the Colts up 13-7 on the Titans:
Campbell was drafted in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. Indianapolis was looking to bring in another elite weapon for Luck at the time, but Brissett is thankful to have him as well.
Frank Reich loves the speed and athleticism that Campbell brings to the field. He has game-changing speed and that showed on this touchdown. This will be the first of what the Colts hope to be many touchdowns from the young wide receiver.
Indianapolis and Tennessee are both considered playoff contenders this season. The Titans started their season off in impressive fashion with a 43-13 win over the Cleveland Browns.
As of right now, the Colts are looking very good offensively in Week 2 and the rookie wide receiver has made his name known this afternoon.
