Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys, thankfully, weren't without their top pass-catcher for long in Week 4.

Amari Cooper exited Sunday's matchup with the Carolina Panthers early due to a hamstring injury, and Dallas subsequently listed him as questionable to return. Fortunately, the veteran wide receiver was back on the field shortly thereafter, apparently no worse for the wear.

Cooper entered Sunday's game with 19 catches for 189 yards and two touchdowns, solid yet unspectacular numbers over the early portion of the 2021 season. His 73.1 percent rate of caught targets would be a career-high, though, further evidence of his growing rapport with Prescott.

Cooper, 27, was selected by the Oakland Raiders with the fourth overall pick of the 2015 NFL draft. After making two Pro Bowls in three seasons with the silver and black, Cooper was traded to Dallas on October 22nd, 2018 in exchange for a first-round pick. He's been the Cowboys' top receiver ever since, earning Pro Bowl nods in 2018 and 2019, an honor Cooper missed out on last season despite setting a career-high with 92 catches.

Sunday's game between Dallas and Carolina could have long-term playoff implications. The Cowboys entered the action at 2-1, while the upstart Panthers sit tied atop the NFC at 3-0.
