Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has been lighting it up on the football field this season. But he's also been setting some money on fire in the process.

According to a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Cowboys stud has been slapped with five fines in just six weeks of NFL action thus far. Total bill? $46,865. The fines haven't been for any extra-curricular activities or testy flare-ups either.

He was fined over $5,000 for his socks being too short during Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Lamb also got fined more than $10,000 for his wave goodbye after the game-winning TD against the New England Patriots in Week 6.

CeeDee lamb has also been caught twice with an untucked jersey. The first instance cost him $5,150, while the second was triple that at $15,450. A third time would triple that again, nearly matching his already-hefty fine bill.

His wideout co-star Amari Cooper is just baffled he's let it get this far, especially because he's still on his rookie contract and making a relatively meager $1.25 million this year.

“I've never seen a player so young get fined so much,” Cowboys receiver Amari Cooper told 105.3 The Fan in Dallas this weekend. “He's gotten fined like every week. It's very confusing to me. I'm like, ‘Do you like money? Do you like getting paid?'”

The Dallas Cowboys have one of the most lethal aerial attacks in the NFL right now, and their stellar receiving corps of Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb are a big reason why.

The veteran might have to get in the youngster's ear about keeping the fines to a minimum, though.
