The Dallas Cowboys traded a first round pick to get Amari Cooper so they would have another playmaker on the outside for Dak Prescott and in his first game with the team, he looked like he could be that. Against the Tennessee Titans, he finished with five receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown.

With Cooper heading into his second game with the Cowboys against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football, he is feeling more comfortable with the offense.

“I’m definitely more comfortable. I know and understand the offense more,” Cooper said Wednesday via the Cowboys team website. “The guys around here have made me comfortable. They’re so cool and everything like that.”

Cooper is becoming more comfortable with the offense but he also knows he needs to improve and is trying to pay attention to all the little details. He said he is working on the small things with Prescott and trying to improve some of the plays they missed against the Titans.

“We remembered the plays that we didn’t quite connect on, and today when we were walking out on the field we talked about it,” Cooper said. “It was only like two or three plays. We were both on the same page about it.

“I’ve always been the type of player that if there was one incompletion thrown my way, what could I have done to complete the ball or actually make it work. There’s definitely some things we can clean up on for sure.”

If the Cowboys are going to pull the upset on Sunday night football it's going to be crucial that Cooper and Prescott have cleaned up those mistakes and have a big game.
