Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott has been dealing with a nagging knee injury. Elliott, who hasn't looked quite right recently, has been held under 100 yards rushing for each of the last 10 weeks. Despite his recent struggles, Elliott is feeling good about his knee injury. In fact, the Cowboys star provided a recent update that will make Dallas fans very happy.

“I’m very encouraged by the direction it’s going. I feel more explosive. I can tell I feel faster. I can tell there’s more stability,” Elliott said, via Michael Gehlken of the Dallas Morning News. “If I keep progressing, by playoffs, I think I’ll be close to 100.”

That is music to Cowboys fans' ears. Ezekiel Elliott feels faster and more explosive. Not only that, but Elliott said he feels that he'll be close to 100 percent by the time the playoffs roll around.

That would make a Cowboys team that just demolished the Washington Football Team 56-14 even scarier with a fully healthy Ezekiel Elliott.

Fortunately for Dallas, they don't even need Elliott's injury to be 100 percent, as backup running back Tony Pollard has proven to be plenty explosive, as evidenced by his 5.6 yards per carry average.

Still, a Cowboys offense with Ezekiel Elliott plowing through defenders would make them a very tough out in the playoffs indeed.
