The Dallas Cowboys remain under the direction of longtime head coach Jason Garrett while the team's offense is now under some new leadership. With former NFL quarterback Kellen Moore currently gearing up for his first go-round as an offensive coordinator atop the highest level, it appears as though things are going smooth in Dallas at the moment.

Not only that, but things appear to be going a lot more smoothly than they were under the direction of former Cowboys offensive coordinator Scott Linehan.

“I think, at the end of the day, it’s a collaborative effort,” Moore recently said, via Calvin Watkins of The Athletic. “It starts with the coaching staff [and] what we do all offseason. But you like hearing how players feel about certain things, whether it’s Dak, whether it’s Zeke [Elliott] or [Jason Witten], or whoever it may be. Sometimes, it justifies things and you have to explain things better. Certainly, I think there’s nothing wrong with this being a collaborative effort.”

The Cowboys did manage to reach the postseason as a result of the 2018 campaign while even winning the NFC East division. However, Dallas once again came up way short of reaching the Super Bowl while the rival Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants have won titles since the Cowboys last did.

With the Giants securing a pair of Super Bowl titles along the way, the Eagles recently captured their first title in franchise history while all three of those Super Bowl wins came over the heralded New England Patriots.
