Brian Urlacher is going to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in August, but he is disappointed one of his all-time favorite players isn't going in with him, Darren Woodson.

Woodson was a finalist this year, but didn't get the call from the hall, and will have to wait again until next year to see if he will make it.

It drives me crazy,” Urlacher said on 105.3 The Fan, via the Dallas Morning News. “I don’t understand. He has three rings, correct? I don’t know how much of a big deal that is to the voters, but he had a good career. He was the guy that I think made that [Cowboys] defense go. I know they were good up front, they had Ken Norton in the middle and everything, but Darren Woodson to me was a beast — my favorite player of all time.”

Woodson was drafted in the second round of the 1992 NFL draft as a linebacker, but the Cowboys soon converted him to the secondary.

He finished his career with 25 interceptions and the most tackles in Cowboys history. He was also named to five Pro Bowls, made four NFL All-Pro teams and finished as a three-time Super Bowl champion.

All those accolades seem like enough to get the call, but the voting committee for some reason haven't voted him through yet.

This past year was the second year in a row he was eligible and did not make it. Maybe next year Urlacher can be on stage when Woodson puts on the Hall of Fame Jacket
