Damian Lillard is a fierce competitor on the court and has made a name for himself as someone who always gives his best effort night in and night out.

During their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday, the Portland Trail Blazers point guard showed once again that he is willing to sacrifice his body as he dove for the ball when he went for a steal and tried to give his team an extra possession.

However, things did not go according to plan as he came crashing into fans sitting at courtside. It even created a domino effect that eventually knocked down the 75-year-old Wolves owner, Glen Taylor.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident, including Lillard, who quickly stood up and went back to the court.

The Timberwolves escaped with a one-point victory, 110-109, as the 26-year-old Weber State product failed to convert the potential game-winning shot. They have been playing at a higher level lately and were on a six-game winning streak before their loss on the night. With only five games left on their schedule, the Blazers are still leading the Denver Nuggets by two games for the eighth and final playoff berth in the Western Conference.
