News broke Wednesday that Tyreek Hill was traded to the Miami Dolphins. The Kansas City Chiefs traded the star wide receiver for three 2022 NFL Draft selections and two 2023 NFL Draft picks. But what's in it for the Cheetah?

Hill got a four-year contract extension worth $120 million, including $72.2 million guaranteed and an average annual salary of $30 million. NFL insider Ian Rapoport tweeted the details of the massive deal Wednesday afternoon.

With his new contract, Hill is now one of the highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL. Currently, Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders has the highest receiver contract with a value of $140 million. Like Hill, Adams was one of many blockbuster trades between teams throughout the league this offseason.

The Dolphins gave up a 1st-round pick (No. 29), a 2nd-round pick (No. 50) and a 4th-round pick in the upcoming draft. Despite losing so many picks, Miami undoubtedly won this trade. No quality wide receiver is making it to 29th overall in the draft, let alone the second or fourth round.

Meanwhile, Hill is an experienced Super Bowl champion who knows how to win football games. The 28-year-old recorded 111 receptions for 1,239 yards and nine touchdowns in the 2021-2022 regular season. He also picked up an extra 23 receptions for 285 yards and three touchdowns in three playoff games.
