Miss college football in your video games? Don't worry, EA Sports got you covered. Expect an NCAA Football revival title by Summer 2023.

NCAA Football reporter Brandon Marcello reports that EA Sports aims to have their NCAA Football revival title out by Summer 2023. In a tweet, he says that Collegiate Licensing Co. CEO Cory Moss expects the game to be out by then.

EA Sports' last NCAA Football game was NCAA Football 14, from way back in 2013 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. If the new NCAA Football game comes out on time, then that's almost a decade of wait for NCAA Football fans. However, most complaints hurled towards Madden 22 point towards a lack of innovation in the series. If the NCAA Football revival game will just be a clone of its pro league counterpart, then general sports fans might just pass this one up. Perhaps the novelty of having a game where you could play the NCAA's young stars would be enough for some, but without a unique selling point for this title, it's hard to get excited. Well, let's just hope that the wait would be worth it for the NCAA Football fans.

EA Sports announced the revival of the series in February last year and we haven't heard much about the game since. EA Sports' deal with the Collegiate Licensing Co. will run for four seasons, effectively ensuring that we'll have an NCAA Football 26, at the very least.
