In the days leading up to Week 7 action against the Carolina Panthers, there had been questions raised about Philadelphia Eagles Pro Bowl quarterback Carson Wentz concerning his health regarding a back injury.

However, it appears that Wentz has shown enough on the practice field that he is no longer limited by any back issues as he has been taken off the injury report for Sunday's game, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.

Nerves were frayed in Philly when quarterback Carson Wentz appeared on the Wednesday injury report as limited in practice. But the final report for the week has been filed, and Wentz has no official designation of questionable, doubtful, or out.

Wentz had been on the injury report on Wednesday but followed that up with a full participation in practice on Thursday that had diminished any real concern about his health. This change in the designation from the team signals that he will be a full go for Week 7 action without any limitations regarding his physical ability on the field against the Panthers.

The Eagles should once again rely heavily upon the play of Wentz to lead them to another win as he has shown continued improvement in his performance on the field. He has racked up 1,192 passing yards on a 68.4 percent completion rate along with eight touchdowns to an interception. He has also posted more than 300 passing yards twice while throwing for more multiple touchdowns in each of the last three games played. Wentz had a strong outing against the New York Giants last Thursday night where he completed 26-of-36 passes for 278 yards with three touchdowns while holding a 122.2 passer rating.

This is another chance for Philadelphia to take a step forward to possibly grab ahold of the top spot in the NFC West with their second consecutive win.
