The Philadelphia Eagles are set to take on the Washington Football Team in Week 15. It's a game with everything on the line, as the winner increases their chances of securing a playoff spot. However, COVID-19 has struck the NFL, causing a postponement for the matchup and Darius Slay is not happy about it.

Slay took to social media to voice his displeasure with the postponement. The Eagles' star cornerback is not happy with the idea of having to play Tuesday, as it creates a short turnaround for his team the following week.

The NFL did everything possible to avoid rescheduling games this year. However, with COVID running rampant through the league, Rodger Goodell didn't really have a choice. At the very least, Washington might be able to get some players back for Tuesday. Although this benefits them, the Eagles are receiving the short end of the deal.

Even so, it's not like the Eagles are the only team going through this. The matchup between the Cleveland Browns and Las Vegas Raiders, as well as the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams, have been postponed. COVID has hit the NFL hard, as well as the other sports leagues in the country. It's like we're right back in the thick of 2020 all over again.

Even so, Darius Slay and the Eagles will have a few extra days to prepare for Washington. With the game being on Tuesday, Philadelphia likely misses their day of rest in between games. We'll see how this plays out for Philadelphia, but there are reasons why this team should prefer this postponement.

For starters, this allows Jalen Hurts extra time to heal. He was looking like a game-time decision, but now with the game being on Tuesday, Hurts will have the time to potentially be healthy for the Eagles. Keep an eye on Philadelphia, as they could take their frustration out on Washington on Tuesday.
