Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson looks like he could be out another week as he deals with an abdomen injury. Eagles coach Doug Pederson said on Wednesday that Jackson is still going through rehab and he won't be practicing yet.

“DeSean is still rehabbing,” Pederson said via the Eagles team website. “He won’t do anything today. He will just continue to rehab today, and we will progress from there.”

Jackson left the game against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2 after playing only 11 snaps. In the opening game of the season, he caught eight passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns, and the team has missed his deep threat on their offense.

Pederson also provided an update on cornerback Sidney Jones who left last Thursday's game with a hamstring injury. Pederson wouldn't confirm that he will play on Sunday but it seems from the comments that he has a good shot.

“Sidney is doing well,” Pederson said. “He is going to go through walk-through this morning. Then we are going to progress him through the portions of practice, as we can. He is kind of day to day, but he is doing well.”

Cornerback Avante Maddox also suffered a concussion and he is still in the protocol and it's unclear his chances of playing on Sunday against the New York Jets.

The Eagles were short-handed at cornerback talent coming into the season so anyone who can't go for them on Sunday is going to be a huge loss, and leave them in some trouble if anyone else goes down with an injury.
