The Philadelphia Eagles have added more good offensive depth re-signing guard Stefen Wisniewski to a one year deal. Wisniewski announced the deal himself on Twitter posting a picture of him wearing a tuxedo shirt singing the deal.

Underneath the photo was the caption:

Hey Philly…I’M BACK!

And I chose to sign in a tuxedo T-shirt because I wanted to be formal, but also I’m here to party…on Broad Street…in early February…for another SB parade…

Let’s GOOOOO!!!!!!

Wisniewski joined the Eagles in 2016 and took over the starting job during the 2017 season and started 11 games including the Super Bowl victory.

Last Wisniewski started the season as the starter but was replaced during week five and was never able to regain the starting job. Before free agency, the team declined Wisniewski's option and he went to Twitter to discuss the decision.

“I am no longer an Eagle. Thanks to all my teammates-especially the OL and bible study guys-it was truly a special group. I will cherish my memories from our Super Bowl Season as long as I live. And thanks to the city of Philly-whose passion and gratitude are the reason why that championship was so special. I am sad to be leaving, but I trust that God is calling me elsewhere for a reason, and I am excited for that new opportunity.”

It's good to see the two sides could work out a deal and although he might not be the starter if someone does go down with an injury the Eagles can trust Wisniewski to fill in.
