The Philadelphia Eagles are working out former Baltimore Ravens first-round pick, wide receiver Breshad Perriman, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network adds the Eagles are also working out Kamar Aiken, who was on the team during training camp, as well as a few other wideouts.

Perriman, 25, was the 26th overall pick by the Ravens in the 2015 NFL Draft. He missed his entire rookie season due to injury and appeared in just 27 total games for the Ravens, recording 43 receptions for 576 yards with three touchdowns.

The Ravens decided to waive him earlier this month after those three disappointing years. He has already worked out for four teams — the Jets, Giants, Bills, and Vikings — since hitting free agency.

The Eagles are in need of more help at wide receiver with Alshon Jeffery still not yet ready to return following shoulder surgery during the offseason.

Nelson Agholor had eight of the nine receptions from Eagles wide receivers in their Week 1 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Veteran Mike Wallace, who was acquired this offseason, did not register a reception in three targets.

However, it remains to be seen whether Perriman would even make that much of an impact if the Eagles do decide to bring him in. The former first-rounder has not come close to living up to his potential, and it seems unlikely that he can become a contributor for the defending champions.

Whether or not the Eagles do sign Perriman, they will most likely continue to rely on tight end Zach Ertz, Agholor, Wallace, and running backs Darren Sproles and Corey Clement in the receiving game as they await Jeffery’s return.
