In the Atlanta Falcons convincing 27-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys, eighth-year defensive end Adrian Clayborn put up a career performance by recording a Falcons franchise-record six sacks.

Following his impressive outing, the 29-year-old credited it to one move that allowed him to have much success against the Cowboys and backup offensive tackle Chaz Green, according to Alex Makrides of Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“I only have one move and it worked,” Clayborn said. His six sacks today are 1.5 fewer than his highest-season total, which came his rookie year in 2011 when he played for Tampa Bay.

That one move is Clayborn's speed rush off the edge.

He is now one of four players who has recorded six sacks in a single game in league history, since the sack officially became a recorded stat in 1982. Clayborn was able to take advantage of Cowboys' All-Pro left tackle Tyron Smith, who is widely regarded as one of the best left tackles in the league, being out of the lineup due to a groin and back injury that made him a late scratch for Sunday's game.

In Smith's place, backups Chaz Green and Byron Bell struggled to block Clayborn throughout the game, contributing greatly to the Cowboys' lack of offensive success against the Falcons. He also forced a pair of fumbles that pushed the game in his team's favor.

The Falcons now sit two games back in the NFC South standings behind the New Orleans Saints and have a tough Week 11 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks on deck.
