The Atlanta Falcons are planning to allow tight end Austin Hooper and linebacker De'Vondre Campbell to test the free-agent market, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

While Rapoport notes that the Falcons have not ruled out keeping either player, the likelihood is that both guys will receive big-time pay days in March.

Hooper will represent the best tight end available this offseason.

The 25-year-old is coming off of a 2019 campaign in which he played 13 games and hauled in 75 receptions for 787 yards and six touchdowns en route to his second straight Pro Bowl appearance.

Hooper, who played his collegiate football at Stanford, was originally selected by Atlanta in the third round (81st pick overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.

He had a quiet rookie year, but showed marked improvement during his second season, catching 49 passes for 526 yards and three scores. Hooper then followed that up by snaring 71 balls for 660 yards while reaching the end zone four times in 2018, earning his first Pro Bowl selection.

Meanwhile, Campbell is fresh off of a breakout 2019 season in which he racked up 129 tackles, a couple of sacks, a pair of interceptions, three forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery.

Campbell, 26, attended the University of Minnesota and was initially selected by the Falcons in the fourth round (115th pick overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.

He immediately became a full-time starter for Atlanta during his rookie year, although injuries limited him to 11 games. Campbell proceeded to have solid campaigns for the Falcons in 2017 and 2018 before enjoying his best year to date this past season.
