Plenty of people saw their lives get disrupted by COVID-19  as fans saw their activities hampered. The Atlanta Falcons saw many of their offseason activities hampered by imposed isolation, but some of the players and staff aren't going to allow themselves to get affected by the quarantine. In fact, head coach Dan Quinn is continuously coming up with ways to keep himself occupied during the quarantine.

As reported by Darin Gantt of Pro Football Talk, Quinn is doing stuff to make sure that his mind doesn't get taken over by negativity. The Falcons coach revealed that he's constantly trying to stay in the present as the future holds so many question marks.

“I’m trying to stay in the here and now,” Quinn told Albert Breer of SI.com. “It’s not, ‘Will we have an offseason, won’t we have an offseason?’ Let’s control what we can. Which is totally, ‘Hey, if we have to start some of it virtually, then let’s start one kick-ass virtual program.’ I told them at one point our goal was to be the best stay-at-home football coaches, finding fun ways to go after it, it’s been a good challenge. You’re always up for a good challenge.

He revealed what he's been doing to combat loneliness that comes with the isolation:

“Staying connected has been a good deal. We wish the term had been physically distanced but socially connected instead of social distancing,” the Falcons coach said. “Physically distanced is OK. But staying connected socially is the big piece for me. I’ve enjoyed calls with players, FaceTime with players on our team, just checking in where they’re at.”

The current situation has been an unprecedented challenge for the team, but they trust that they'll come out of this stronger, more united, and more than ready to win some football games.
