Todd Gurley was once considered one of the NFL's best running backs and he's showing he can still make huge plays for the Atlanta Falcons. On Atlanta's first offensive drive versus the Carolina Panthers, Gurley broke away for a 35-yard rushing touchdown.

With Atlanta sitting at 0-4 to begin the season and without Julio Jones in the lineup, they would love to get Gurley going on Sunday. And early in their NFC South bout with the Panthers, Gurley touched the ball four times for 58 yards and scored the game's first touchdown.

It seems like forever ago when we saw an explosive version of Gurley for the Los Angeles Rams in 2018. Even after signing with the Falcons this past offseason, there were still concerns surrounding his knee ailment.

While everyone continues to wonder if Gurley can still be a lethal threat in an offense, he's silencing some of his critics so far in Week 5 for the Falcons.
