The Green Bay Packers will return home to take on the Carolina Panthers in Week 10. This game will undoubtedly have some fantasy football playoff implications on both sides—including Davante Adams.

The Packers were able to get Adams back on the field in Week 9 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Adams had missed a month of action due to a toe injury that he sustained in Week 4 versus the Philadelphia Eagles.

In his first game back, Aaron Rodgers' favorite weapon was targeted 11 times. With those targets, he only came down with seven receptions for 41 yards.

Upon his return, there were inevitably people who inserted Adams back into their starting lineups. At the same time, those people walked away disappointed with his performance on Sunday.

Considering that, what should we expect from Adams against the Panthers in terms of fantasy football?

Before the Packers' go-to wideout went down with an injury in Week 4, he was amid his best game of the season with 10 receptions for 180 yards. Unfortunately, a turf toe injury prevented him from finishing the game and led to Green Bay losing to the Eagles.

Altogether, from Weeks 1-4, Adams had combined for 25 catches for 378 yards. Surprisingly enough, Adams has yet to catch his first touchdown from Rodgers in 2019.

Since 2016, Adams has caught 35 touchdowns with the Packers (most in the NFL in that span). While he continues to recover from his toe ailment, the 26-year-old wide receiver will find the end zone at some point.

This will finally be the week that Adams will be able to contribute six points for the Packers' offense. The Panthers have a formidable pass defense under Ron Rivera. But that won't be enough to slow down the aerial attack of Green Bay.

The Packers are coming off an embarrassing loss to the Chargers in Week 9 where they totaled only 184 yards of offense. Due to their underwhelming outing last Sunday, the Packers will be motivated to get into a rhythm offensively.

That begins with getting Davante Adams involved in the offense early and often. On the other hand, Carolina has allowed an average of 38.8 fantasy points per game to wide receivers thus far.

While the Panthers have surrendered the eighth-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers, they have only given up five receiving touchdowns to the position. Provided that, it's tough to envision Rodgers having another game where he fails to perform well.

Also, Davante Adams is due to get his first touchdown reception sooner rather than later. With that being said, expect Adams to finish with six receptions,80 yards, and a touchdown in Week 10 versus the Panthers.
