The New York Giants might not be married to head coach Ben McAdoo for much longer. Heck, at least according to some reports, this poorly wed couple could see the relationship end as early as Sunday.

According to the reports, if the New York Giants lose on Sunday (or even if they don't), it is expected that Ben McAdoo will be kicked to the curb.

This is some weird stuff, as the timeline here of “what will the Giants do” has changed the last few weeks.

First, New York released a statement saying it wouldn't do anything with Big Bad Ben until after the season:

“Ben McAdoo is our head coach and has our support. We are in the midst of an extremely disappointing season. Our performance this year, particularly the past two weeks, is inexcusable and frustrating. While we appreciate that our fans are unhappy with what has occurred, nobody is more upset than we are. Our plan is to do what we have always done, which is to not offer a running commentary on the season. It is our responsibility to determine the reasons for our poor performance and at the end of the year, we will evaluate the 2017 season in its entirety and make a determination on how we move forward.

Then, John Mara changed that idea with a few short words coupled together last week:

“There are no guarantees in life,” Mara said, adding that when a team is 2-9, that means nobody is doing a good job.

Does Ben survive Sunday? Probably not. We will keep you posted.
