With training camp rapidly approaching, New York Giants players have been sure to let everyone know they are getting their work in. Needless to say, quarterback Eli Manning is pleased with what he has seen from his teammates.

Among the most notable have been the incredible displays of athleticism from wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and running back Saquon Barkley. Manning is more than happy to welcome them back with one caveat, via Jordan Raanan of ESPN:

“Yeah, I’ve seen a couple videos,” Manning said. “Those guys always work. Appreciate the work. Getting ready for the upcoming season. I know they’ll have to make some adjustments. We do practice with our shirts on with the Giants, so they’ll have to make an adjustment the first few weeks. It may take some time to get used to that. But besides that, I know those guys, [and] it’s great that they are together. They are challenging each other. They’re getting ready for the upcoming season.”

Manning has not been shy about expressing his excitement over this revamped Giants team. It is easy to see why with players like Beckham and Barkley in his arsenal.

The veteran gave an encouraging update on his star wideout's health last month and has largely echoed much of the same prior to training camp. Although it remains to be seen whether or not Beckham will be in attendance, they can at least take solace in the fact he should be healthy for the start of the 2018 NFL season.

Meanwhile, the arrival of Barkley has given the offense a potential workhorse in the backfield. Manning is already enamored with the rookie's physical stature. New York may largely rely on a more balanced attack like they did during their championship runs all those years ago.
