The New York Giants have made a few players on their roster available via trade, but there haven't been any suitors yet. Among them, Janoris Jenkins likely won't be on the move ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline per Mike Garafolo.

On Monday, there were reports that New York was open to accepting offers for Jenkins. However, as of this moment, there hasn't been any signs that the veteran cornerback will be playing for a new team on Tuesday.

Jenkins is in the fourth year of the five-year, $62.5 million deal that he signed with the Giants in 2016. The ball-hawking corner is due $20.3 million from 2019-2020 and will count $29.5 million against the cap in that span.

It's definitely going to be an uphill climb for New York to convince another team to take on his contract. Also, at 31 years old, Jenkins is beginning to show signs of declining in the past couple of seasons.

This season, Jenkins has 35 tackles, 10 pass deflections, and four interceptions. The four interceptions look nice in the box score, but he has been far from as good as the interceptions would indicate.

Furthermore, Jenkins has allowed 24 receptions on 45 targets and has been part of the reason why the Giants have the 25th ranked pass defense in the NFL. His ability to create turnovers is still there, but he's not as reliable as he once was.

Even with being the case, there are multiple teams who are in need of some aid at the cornerback position. Therefore, there's still a chance that New York is able to negotiate a deal before the trade deadline passes on Tuesday.
