For much of 2019, the New York Giants defense has been horrendous early in games. On Monday Night Football, against the rival Dallas Cowboys, that was the inverse. On Dak Prescott's first pass attempt of the game, the Giants took the ball back.

It appears the play was an RPO between Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott. Safety Antoine Bethea (No. 41) sat on the run attempt, watched Prescott's eyes, and lept up to a free dinner when Prescott ultimately chose to get a quick-hitter.

Just like that, the Giants had the ball in an ideal spot to score. Unfortunately, Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley weren't able to edge New York into the end zone. Instead, they settled for an Alrick Rosas kicked field goal. Nonetheless, the 3-0 score meant that the Giants were in possession of their first lead since Week 4 vs. the Washington Redskins.
