The New York Giants were in desperate need of a big play after falling behind early against the New England Patriots. Fortunately, the passing game was able to oblige.

Quarterback Daniel Jones was finally able to connect with wide receiver Golden Tate for a 64-yard touchdown against the Patriots, via NFL Twitter:

As impressive as the bobbled catch by Tate was, the throw by Jones was nothing short of spectacular. It was just what the rookie quarterback needed after throwing two picks to start the game. Perhaps even more impressive is that it was the first passing touchdown that this formidable Patriots defense has allowed in the 2019 NFL season.

Tate made it clear that the Giants were not going to be intimidated against their undefeated opponent in Week 6. The veteran is doing a solid job of leading by example by helping Jones find his rhythm in the passing game.
