Tiger Woods and his son, Charlie, entered Sunday's final round of the PNC Championship only three shots off of the lead. The Woods duo had a solid opening round, shooting a 10-under, 62 round of golf. That put them in contention.

It was Tiger Woods' first professional round of golf played since he was in a serious car crash back in February this year. Woods sustained some serious leg injuries and many wondered whether or not he would play professional golf ever again. Once again, Tiger Woods continues to amaze.

The PNC Championship is a two-person scramble format of golf. Tiger and his son Charlie put together another spectacular round of golf, making history along the way.

Tiger and Charlie carded 11 consecutive birdies during the final round Sunday. That is a new tournament record. They finished the day shooting a round of 15-under par, 57.

However, the team of John Daly and John Daly II also carded a final round of 15-under, 57. They entered the final day two shots ahead of the Woods duo; therefore, winning the tournament.

This tournament however is about more than just golf. It brings generations of golfers and fans together, creating a special bond. Tiger Woods is clearly not anywhere near his physical peak, and faces a long, difficult road to get back to playing on the PGA Tour. However, it was great to see him back on the golf course with his son nonetheless.

After the round, Tiger had some sobering words. “I'm just happy and thankful that I'm able to do this.”
