Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant has always been a stud. So much so, that the 6-foot-3 point guard was making headlines way before he made his mark in the NBA.

Morant recently came across one of his best highlight-reel dunks from his days with Murray State, and the 21-year-old could not help but share his own reaction to the memorable play (via Morant's own Twitter account):

It was indeed an NSFW-inducing dunk, which is exactly the type of reaction it prompted from the Grizzlies guard. Clearly, Morant remains to be very proud of this unforgettable moment, and he wasn't shy about making his feelings about it known.

Morant has pretty much been doing the same thing in the NBA, and his rookie campaign had no shortage of disrespectful, SportsCenter-worthy dunks. He also played some outstanding basketball as well, with the former second overall pick putting up averages of 17.8 points (on 47.7 percent shooting), 3.9 rebounds, and 7.3 assists in 31.0 minutes per game. This resulted in Morant deservedly bagging the Rookie of the Year award by quite a margin.

The incoming second-year guard will now look to build on his tremendous debut campaign for the Grizzlies in the upcoming 2020-21 season. Despite Ja Morant's heroics last term, Memphis fell short of the playoffs, bowing out to the Portland Trail Blazers in a postseason play-in mini-series. This time around, Morant will hope to lead the Grizzlies to a better season, which will hopefully result in Memphis' first playoffs appearance in four long years.
