Atlanta Hawks center Clint Capela will play in Game 5 against the Milwaukee Bucks after getting elbowed in the face in Game 4, according to Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

Capela had been listed as questionable with right eye inflammation, but there was optimism he was going to suit up. Sure enough, Capela will be giving it a go in this crucial contest. The Hawks are tied with the Bucks at two games apiece, and Giannis Antetokounmpo will not be playing due to his knee injury.

The Hawks center suffered the injury late in the dominant Game 4 victory when he got whacked in the face by Bucks reserve Sam Merrill. Capela probably shouldn't have been out there at that point, so Atlanta is lucky this injury didn't turn out to be more serious.

Capela has been the Hawks' defensive anchor in the middle all season. He had one of the most productive regular seasons of his career, including leading the NBA in rebounding with 14.3 per contest. The big man also had 15.2 points and 2.0 blocks per game.

While it seems Capela will play in Game 5, the word isn't yet in on Trae Young. The Hawks star point guard missed Game 4 because of his ankle injury, and he's currently questionable for Thursday's game.

Atlanta dominated Game 4 even without Young, so him not playing wouldn't be a death knell for them, especially with no Giannis suiting up. Still, getting Ice Trae back would give the Hawks a huge advantage going into Milwaukee.
