Trae Young's second trip to the NBA Playoffs didn't go as swimmingly as the first. After turning into public enemy number one in New York for his demolition of the Knicks in Madison Square Garden, the Atlanta Hawks point guard was completely manhandled by the Miami Heat all series.

In what turned out to be the Hawks' final game of the season, Trae Young finished Game 5 with just 11 points on a brutal 2-for-12 shooting clip. He also missed all five of his three-point attempts and turned the ball over six times.

The Hawks star was one of the most lethal scorers in the NBA during the regular season. His 28.4 points ranked sixth in the entire association. But Trae Young managed just 15.4 points in the postseason through five games, which ranks as the second largest drop off in league history.

The Miami Heat deserve a lot of credit. They have the personnel and team defense to stifle Trae Young as well as the head coach who could draw up the right schemes to limit the Hawks' focal point.

The Hawks didn't have the dream season they were hoping for after making the Eastern Conference Finals last season. Chalk this postseason campaign up as a learning experience for Trae Young.
