It's confirmed that the Miami Heat will be without veteran guard Avery Bradley for as long as a month with the 30-year-old currently dealing with a calf strain.

This report comes via NBA insider Shams Charania of The Athletic:

Bradley exited Wednesday's loss to the Washington Wizards after just 13 minutes of action, and as it turns out, the 6-foot-3 combo guard will now be spending time on the shelf as he recovers from his latest injury.

Bradley can't seem to catch a break this season, with the vet already missing 11 out of the Heat's 21 games played this year due to various injuries. He is now set to sit out up to a month on the sidelines with this most recent problem, but the team is still hoping to get him back as soon as possible.

Bradley signed with the Heat during the offseason on a two-year deal worth $11.6 million. He plied his trade with the Los Angeles Lakers last term, and while he opted out of the Disney World bubble, Bradley was still given his championship ring after playing 49 games for L.A. prior to the hiatus.

The Heat will want to get Bradley back sooner rather than later as they continue to navigate what has been a disappointing season thus far. Miami is currently sitting on a 7-14 record are third from the bottom in the East. They return to action on Friday in a matchup against the Washington Wizards coming off two straight losses.
